Oxus University is committed to attracting exceptional and talented students by offering scholarships in the form of tuition reduction.

Scholarships Sources

Scholarships will be awarded based on academic merit, as determined by the applicants’ academic records and performance at the exam.

The scholarship holders will undergo annual academic performance evaluations to maintain their scholarship status.

Oxus University will allocate scholarships to 10 percent of the total incoming student population for each academic year, based on academic merit and other criteria.

The number of scholarships available may vary from year to year, depending on the total number of incoming students.

Scoring system

The allocation of scholarships to students is determined based on the following scoring system.

Assessment of academic competence

  • 6 points: IELTS* >7, DTM > 160, Internal test > 90
  • 5 points: IELTS >6.5, DTM > 150, Internal test > 85
  • 4 points: IELTS >6, DTM > 140, Internal test > 75
  • 3 points: IELTS >5.5, DTM > 135, Internal test > 70
  • 2 points: IELTS >5, DTM > 130, Internal test > 65
  • 1 point: IELTS >4.5, DTM > 125, Internal test > 60

Scoring based on regional affiliation

  • 1 point: Jizzax, Samarqand
  • 2 points: Andijon, Namangan, Farg'ona, Navoiy, Buxoro, Qashqadaryo
  • 3 points: Qoraqalpog'iston Respublikasi, Xorazm, Surxondaryo
  • Additional 1 point for rural areas

Scoring based on family and financial situation

  • 2 points: Orphan or having disabled parents (1 category)
  • 4 points: Orphan
  • 2 points: Listed in the "Single Register of Social Protection"
  • 4 points: Only one parent is alive and disabled (1 category)

Scoring based on health condition

  • 4 points: Disabled with 1st category
  • 2 points: Disabled with 2nd category
  • 1 point: Applicable to female students

Scoring based on interview

  • 6 pointsCommunication Skills: Demonstrates excellent clarity, coherence, and articulation. Engages confidently and effectively.
    Social Activeness: Highly willing and enthusiastic about participating in extracurricular activities and social projects.
    Overall Knowledge and Worldview: Shows a deep understanding of subjects and a well- rounded, informed perspective.
  • 5 pointsCommunication Skills: Strong and clear communication, mostly coherent and engaging.
    Social Activeness: Demonstrates a strong interest in social engagement and extracurricular activities.
    Overall Knowledge and Worldview: Has a good understanding of relevant topics and a broad perspective.
  • 4 pointsCommunication Skills: Good communication, generally clear but may occasionally lack coherence.
    Social Activeness: Shows a fair level of interest in extracurricular and social activities.
    Overall Knowledge and Worldview: Displays a decent grasp of topics, though may lack depth in some areas.
  • 3 pointsCommunication Skills: Adequate communication, but may have noticeable issues with clarity or coherence.
    Social Activeness: Some interest in being socially active, but not strongly demonstrated.
